Growing Together, Nourishing Communities

Indy F.A.R.M.S Co-Operative is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity, promoting sustainable agriculture, and improving the quality of life for seniors and underserved communities in Indianapolis.

Our co-op is simple to understand: we are made up of farmers, local businesses, and educators. Each member runs their own operation independently — but we choose to work together toward a shared mission: growing food, supporting seniors, and building a stronger Indianapolis community.

Through cooperative collaboration, we cultivate change from the ground up — one meal, one farm, one neighbor at a time.

Indy F.A.R.M.S Co-Operative exists to address the intersection of food insecurity, senior care, and community wellness. We believe that access to fresh food, a safe home, and a connected community are not luxuries — they are basic needs every Indianapolis resident deserves.

Our cooperative model means that no single person or organization carries this work alone. Together, our members — farmers, educators, and local businesses — pool their skills and resources to create programs that truly serve people where they are.

This website is designed to be transparent and grant-ready, reflecting our commitment to accountability and community trust.
